MES is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team in IN! This position will cover territories; Ripley, Jennings, Jefferson, Scott, Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Crawford, Lawrence, Martin, Orange, Perry, Dubois, Spencer, Warrick, Pike, Gibson, Posey, Knox, Vanderburgh, Sullivan and Greene.
This role is pivotal in driving business growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, conducting product demonstrations, and effectively managing a designated sales territory. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to analyze market trends to identify new opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
- Engage in direct sales activities, including cold calling and lead generation, to expand the customer base.
- Manage assigned territory effectively, ensuring consistent follow-up with leads and existing customers.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials that support sales initiatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or direct sales, preferably in a technical or retail environment.
- Strong skills in lead generation and territory management.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos that effectively communicate value propositions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with clients.
- Proficient in analyzing data to inform sales strategies and decision-making processes.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus but not required.
