As a GIS Analyst, you will collect, process, analyze, and visualize geospatial data to support decision-making and organizational goals. This role focuses on leveraging GIS tools and techniques to create actionable insights, develop high-quality visualizations, and maintain data accuracy. GIS analysts collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver geospatial solutions that enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
In this position you will:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand project needs and provide GIS-based solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on GIS tools and workflows.
- Engage with stakeholders to present data insights and recommendations.
- Collect, clean, validate, and maintain geospatial datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Manage geospatial databases, ensuring compliance with organizational data standards.
- Perform data integration and transformation to meet project requirements.
- Conduct spatial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and relationships in geospatial data.
- Create high-quality maps, dashboards, and other visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Develop models and workflows to automate repetitive analysis tasks.
