Your Role:
In this exciting position, you’ll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, generating revenue by selling our essential maintenance services and CIPP projects. You’ll develop and nurture relationships with municipalities and industries across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Southern Minnesota. Your success will directly contribute to increasing the efficiency and integrity of sewer systems, reducing inflow and infiltration, and preventing costly sanitary sewer overflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute: Create a robust business plan that not only meets but exceeds annual sales goals.
- Expand Our Reach: Enhance our presence with existing clients and forge new relationships with prospective customers.
- Engage and Inspire: Conduct compelling sales presentations and build strong rapport with clients, vendors, and distributors.
- Drive New Business: Proactively identify and pursue new leads, conducting face-to-face presentations and developing new accounts.
- Service and Support: Maintain relationships with current customers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Monitor and Report: Keep a pulse on competitive activities and provide timely insights to management.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience Matters: Ideally, you’ll have a background in the sewer industry and at least three years of sales experience.
- Education: An associate degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Independent and Driven: You thrive in an independent role and are adept at managing your time and activities effectively.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written skills, with a knack for building relationships and resolving conflicts.
- Ready to Travel: A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to travel up to 80% of the time are essential.
