Example of Duties

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Information Security Officer, implements, and / or maintains security camera and access control systems, programs, and services. Works with Information Technology teams to implement and support new security camera and access control systems. Works with Municipal departments to identify, integrate and consolidate existing security camera and access control systems. Acts as an additional resource to support operational security tasks performed by other Security Analysts. Perform other required duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications / Substitutions / Preferences

High school diploma, GED or equivalent, and eight (8) years of experience in the field related to the position.

Associate's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline, and six (6) years of experience in the field related to the position.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline, and four (4) years of experience in the field related to the position.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, a related discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field related to the position.

If selected for hire, appointment in this position requires Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) security clearance and access within thirty (30) days of hire. If the individual selected for this position fails to obtain these clearances and accesses within thirty (30) days of hire, he / she will be terminated.

Military Service Interview Preference
