FISCAL ASSISTANT

The Municipality of Murrysville is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Full-Time Fiscal Assistant. Prospective applicants should have keen attention to detail, hold an associate degree in accounting (bachelors degree preferred), possess proficient skills in utilizing computers, Excel, and fiscal software, and ideally have three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience, with a preference for backgrounds in accounts receivable, payroll processing,
or within a government setting. Applicants with equivalent
combinations of training and experience will also be considered.
The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic role that
encompasses various responsibilities, including managing
Accounts Receivable functions, processing incoming receipts
and deposits, handling Human Resources tasks such as
new hire onboarding and maintaining personnel files,
cross-training as backup for payroll processing, and compiling
data for spreadsheets and financial documents as needed.
This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and a defined retirement plan. The salary range for this role is between $47,000 and $63,450, based on experience and qualifications.
