Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric inpatients, developing and implementing staff development programs, and collaborating with leaders from multiple disciplines to enhance staff knowledge, skills, and abilities critical for high performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric inpatients through supervision of multidisciplinary treatment teams, direct service psychotherapy-chemotherapy, and preparation of psychiatric-legal evaluations and reports.
- Develop and implement staff development programs to improve staff knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Collaborate with leaders from multiple disciplines to enhance staff knowledge, skills, and abilities critical for high performance.
Requirements:
- Formal residency training as a psychiatrist yielding demonstrated competence in medical treatment.
- Currently licensed to practice medicine in the State of Montana.
- Preferably Board Certified in Psychiatry, or eligible for certification.
