Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling billing, bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, billing clients. Experience with Appfolio a plus.
Responsibilities
- Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments.
- Perform data entry tasks to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in the accounting system.
- Assist in general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Support office staff with calls and walk ins as needed.
- Utilize accounting software such as Quicken, Workday, and ADP for efficient processing of accounts payable functions.
- Maintain organized files for future reference.
Skills
- Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with accounting software including Appfolio is preferred.
- Experience in general ledger reconciliation is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
