We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic procedures.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and oral surgeries.
- Utilize medical documentation practices to maintain accurate patient records and treatment histories.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic for patient management and record keeping.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Must be comfortable with surgery or have an eager interest in wanting to learn and improve in that area
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. MUST have a license to practice in Indiana, preferably both Indiana and Illinois
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Familiarity with dental fabrication techniques and medical imaging technologies.
- Strong understanding of infection control standards in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
