Job Description:
Come be a part of the exciting digital transformation happening at Munters! We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand their requirements, and translate those insights into intuitive, functional, and engaging user interfaces. You will be responsible for creating wireframes, prototypes, and user journey flows, while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, user needs, and pain points.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and workshops to clarify goals and project scope.
- Interpret customer feedback and translate it into clear, actionable design specifications.
- Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that communicate design ideas and interactions.
- Develop interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision for feedback and iteration.
- Ensure designs are aligned with usability standards and best practices in UX.
- Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that meet the customers' needs while aligning with the overall product vision.
- Use wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate design concepts and flows.
- Use and develop design systems and design guidelines.
- Work closely with software development teams to ensure smooth design handoffs and implementation of designs.
- Provide detailed UI specifications, assets, and guidelines to ensure the development team can deliver on the design vision.
- Collaborate with developers throughout the design process to maintain design integrity and usability during build.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, user interface patterns, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback into design revisions.
- Participate in post-launch analysis to identify opportunities for improvements in the user experience.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in web and mobile design.
- Experience working directly with customers to gather and interpret requirements.
- Experience collaborating with software development teams in an Agile environment is a plus.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting and explaining design decisions to customers and internal teams.
- Experience with user-centered design processes and usability testing.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development is a bonus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to balance customer feedback with business goals.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
