The Translational Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology team at Mural Oncology is currently seeking a highly motivated PhD or master’s student to join the team this summer. The Intern will be remote or hybrid-based in our Waltham, MA office and will have the opportunity to work with statistical, programming, and translational medicine colleagues to learn about practical applied analytical needs and solutions specific to translational and clinical biomarker research, leveraging data from Oncology clinical trials. In this role, the intern will be involved in activities such as data preparation, graphical exploration of data, statistical model building and analyses, interpretation and presentation of results.

The summer intern’s responsibilities will focus on the following:
- Utilizing statistical software to prepare data for analysis.
- Applying graphical and statistical approaches to explore data.
- Analyzing data and working with collaborators to interpret and summarize results.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college/university pursuing a PhD (preferred) or master’s degree in biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatic or a related quantitative field
- Availability to work full-time for approximately 11 weeks between June and August (exact dates TBD)
- Authorized to work in the US and not requiring sponsorship for employment visa status
- Demonstrated leadership is preferred
- Proficiency is SAS or R is preferred
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple task
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
