Job Title : Engineer, Product Characterization
Job Duties : Work on the characterization and product development of RF ICs in pSemi’s UltraCMOS technology for mobile wireless and commercial and industrial applications. Be a part of the product development team, taking industry leading product designs and readying them for mass production. Work with Design Engineering on product characterization plan definition. Perform product characterization over a superset of conditions specified in the datasheet. Develop necessary benches to evaluate all relevant performance requirement. Analyze results from products being stress for lifetime reliability. Document all relevant product information specific to the performance and limitations of the device as future reference for application and customer support. Provide data sheet performance limits based on design verification and characterization data. Work with Test Engineering bench to ATE correlation efforts. Work on product design verification.
Required education : Master of Science or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related.
Additional minimum requirements : academic semester-long coursework or 6 months of work experience in the following :
- RF and electromagnetic theory, microwave circuits, LNAs operational amplifiers;
- Analog circuits design;
- IC fabrication process, semiconductor bandgap voltages;
- MatLab, Data Analysis LabVIEW.
Salary $120,000 -$132,000 / year
