Based in Alpharetta, GA (Greater Atlanta), this position is essential for driving the company’s high-growth supply chain strategy and supporting its ambitious double-digit annual growth target each of the next few years . Reporting directly to the Head of Global Manufacturing, with frequent dotted-line partnership with the President of North America, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape North American operations in a high-growth, customer-centric environment.
The Opportunity
As the Senior Director / Head of Supply Chain North America, you will lead a transformative, end-to-end approach to supply chain operations, overseeing Customer Service, Planning, Warehousing, and Transportation . This role places a significant focus on network strategy analysis and facility placement decisions , ensuring the optimal configuration of warehousing and transportation across North America. You’ll play a central role in aligning supply chain capabilities with the company’s North American goals, driving efficiency, customer satisfaction, and seamless collaboration with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, R&D, and Finance .
Your expertise in FMCG / CPG supply chain management, particularly working directly with large retail customers (e.g., Walmart, Target, Costco, Dollar General), will be instrumental to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Define and implement forward-thinking supply chain strategies that align with company goals, foster continuous improvement, and drive growth across North American operations.
- Customer-Centric Operations : Manage and optimize customer service and logistics to strengthen relationships with major U.S. retailers, ensuring high service levels and streamlined operations.
- Network Strategy and Facility Placement : Conduct comprehensive analyses to determine optimal warehousing and transportation networks, including strategic decisions around 3PL and facility placements that balance cost and efficiency.
- Performance Management : Establish KPIs for all supply chain functions, using data-driven insights to enhance adaptability and measure success.
- S&OP and Inventory Optimization : Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to maintain ideal inventory levels that meet demand forecasts and customer needs.
- Team Development and Structure : Oversee a diverse, high-performing team across multiple locations, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture.
