Job Summary :
We are looking for a full-time sales professional to join our team. While we are based out of CA, remote applicants will be considered so we encourage all that meet requirements to apply! Orange County CA or Jacksonville FL area candidates preferred.
The Director of Commercial Sales will be responsible for driving wholesale sales to dealer networks and expanding fleet sales to commercial accounts, including rental companies, hotels, and industry brands. Additionally, this role will also oversee the operations of our flagship retail location in San Clemente, ensuring smooth execution of consumer sales strategies whether at a partner dealer or at our headquarters. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of wholesale and commercial sales, and the ability to build and inspire a sales team while contributing to the overall growth and success of Murf Electric Bikes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Wholesale Sales :
o Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow the dealer network across key markets, with an emphasis on Southern California and Florida marketplaces.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers to ensure consistent and successful product distribution.
o Negotiate dealer agreements, pricing structures, and promotional programs.
o Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support dealers with the necessary tools, materials, and training.
o Where necessary, management of outside sales agencies and representatives
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial sector, including fleet sales to rental companies, hotels, corporate brands, and other potential commercial clients.
o Create and manage B2B sales programs tailored to the needs of commercial clients, including pricing, service agreements, and customization options.
o Partner with commercial accounts to develop long-term relationships that promote Murf as the e-bike brand of choice for fleet purchases.
o Oversee the operations of the San Clemente retail location, ensuring a premium customer experience that aligns with the Murf brand, with a particular focus on celebrating the rider’s first day with their new Murf E-bike.
o Lead, mentor, and support the retail team to meet sales targets and operational goals.
o Ensure the store is fully stocked with inventory and that all team members are trained to provide top-tier customer service.
o Set and manage sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the wholesale, fleet, and retail teams.
o Develop and execute sales strategies that align with Murf's overall business objectives.
o Provide regular reporting on sales performance and market trends to senior leadership, including routine preparation of Board of Directors material.
o Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, finance) to ensure alignment and maximize growth opportunities.
