Breast Center Nurse Practitioner
Description: A unique opportunity to be an advanced practice provider within the Murfreesboro Medical Center in Murfreesboro TN, working with a multidisciplinary breast cancer team to provide quality, comprehensive care within a high-volume, high-risk breast/cancer survivor clinic in collaboration with our Breast Surgeons.
Daily tasks will include:
Consultations with new and returning patients for a variety of breast specific needs
Workups, including palpable masses; cancer follow-up/surveillance; genetic mutations; other breast concerns
Skills/Proficiencies:
History and physical exam
Breast examinations
Breast film and pathology/lab review
Must be comfortable assisting in managing cancer diagnosis and survivors with empathy and compassion
Qualifications:
Minimum education: Master’s degree
For NP: Valid Tennessee RN license and NP certificate with furnishing number.
Ability to work in collaboration with our Breast Surgeons
