As a Customer Experience Ambassador, you will be the first point of contact for our valued clients, ensuring they receive a world-class experience during their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
Warm Welcome: Greet all guests entering the Service Department with a smile promptly upon arrival.
Preparation: Prepare daily comprehensive reports for each appointment, including Key Read, DCS, Consumer Insights, historical CSI surveys, maintenance history, and parts availability.
Concierge Service: Act as the concierge to all customers, ensuring they are familiar with dealership amenities.
Problem Solving: Ascertain automotive problems and services by listening to customer descriptions, conducting inspections, taking test drives, and checking vehicle maintenance records.
Customer Authorization: Obtain customer authorization via written approval/signature on all repair orders and procedures while maintaining customer rapport.
Follow-Up: Utilize a consistent and thorough follow-up process to keep customers updated on vehicle status, confirming contact info at every touch point.
Estimates: Prepare detailed and accurate estimates on the cost of labor and parts using MPI software.
Repair Orders: Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, causes, and repairs, obtaining approval signatures, and entering RO into the service database system.
Service Calls: Answer all service calls in a timely manner.
Continuous Learning: Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading manufacturer’s publications, and completing required training.
Support: Assist the Service and Sales Department with additional duties and tasks as needed.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Automotive sales or service experience preferred but not required.
Automotive mechanical knowledge preferred but not required.
Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base.
Strong ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Practical understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Driver's License required.
