The Pantry Cook will be responsible for preparing and organizing ingredients for use in salads, appetizers and other cold dishes. The Pantry Cook will work in a fast-paced environment and must have excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare dressings, sauces, and other condiments.
- Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients for salads and other cold dishes.
- Plate and garnish dishes.
- Manage inventory and restock pantry supplies.
- Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as a Pantry Cook or similar role.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and preparing food.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
