Job description, Senior Digital Copywriter:

What you’ll do in your role:
We need a Senior Digital Copywriter who can help us strategize, create, enhance, and revise digital narratives. You will also be reviewing, editing, and assisting in providing copy feedback, ensuring that our creative aligns with strategic planning and the company’s digital & brand style guidelines. This role would involve collaborating with designers and creative leads to create impactful brand moments across all digital creative platforms.
You'll work directly with senior leadership, marketing leaders, and the brand, digital, and production groups to build industry-leading communications that drive engagement, brand love, and revenue. We’re looking for someone who understands intersections between development, UX, content strategy, and copy and strives to create the best digital customer experience.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities:
- For larger-scope, higher-complexity projects, formulate and prepare content strategy to guide overall narrative development and user experience, adjusting strategy as needed.
- Write web, social, marketing, and merchandising creative for mid-to-high complexity projects that meets brief requirements while maintaining a high degree of autonomy.
- Follow and assist in bettering our team processes and best practices; including file naming, folder maintenance, and handoff.
- Present creative to leadership & stakeholders during creative reviews.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with partner teams to ensure copy is on brand and in line with strategic expectations.
- Collaborate with designers and other members of the team to develop creative concepts for projects.
- Contribute to the creation and evolution of copywriting resources and tools, such as messaging guides, onboarding manuals, and templates.
- Guide, coach, and mentor junior team members, assist in providing feedback on lower priority/less complex projects, help with onboarding, and act as a subject matter expert on projects and campaigns.
- If you’re bilingual (English and Spanish), translate copy as needed.
What you’ll bring:
- 6 years of relevant copywriting experience in an agency or corporate environment with formal copy training and a strong portfolio showing previous experience with digital copywriting.
- 3 years content strategy experience in medium- to high-complexity digital content ecosystems.
- An expert-level understanding of digital copywriting principles, current trends, and industry best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and timelines.
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines.
- High-level collaboration and communication skills; especially around receiving, giving, and implementing feedback.
- A creative point of view with a passion for pursuing innovative ideas.
- Priority soft skills: We’re a close-knit group of creatives who value kindness, inclusivity, proactivity, and collaboration.
- Bonus: Bilingual (English and Spanish), able to write and speak fluently and translate when needed.

What does a typical day look like (daily tasks)?
- Write copy for assigned projects and prepare content strategy documents in Microsoft Word and/or Figma
- Participate in ad hoc creative brainstorm sessions with other writers and designers
- Track assigned projects status (ongoing) in Adobe Workfront and Microsoft Teams and share out status updates to appropriate people
- Attend regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings for status, kick-offs, collaboration, and more
- Present your work in tandem with your design partner and creative lead to brand marketing stakeholders and leadership
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Duration: 4/28 to start, to run for 6 months, with chance to extend.
Daily Schedule: M-F. 40 hours a week, no OT anticipated.
Location: Our offices for this position are in Bellevue, WA; Frisco, TX; and Overland Park, KS. This is a hybrid position, requiring you to live close enough to an office that you can work in person as needed, but also giving you the flexibility to work from home part-time.
Hardware: Client to provide.
Onboarding requirements: Client requires candidate be a US citizen. Client also requires a background check before start.
