Full Stack Developer (On-site position located in Utah)

Murphy Door® is seeking a versatile full-stack developer to join our growing development team. We're looking for someone who's passionate about computer science, thrives on diverse technical challenges, and embraces the opportunity to work across multiple programming languages and platforms.

About the Role

As our second in-house developer, you'll work directly with our Software Engineering Manager to create innovative solutions that enhance both our customer experience and internal operations. This role offers unique opportunities to:

· Develop and optimize our Shopify-based e-commerce platform

· Drive SEO improvements through technical implementation and content optimization

· Create custom applications and tools using various technologies

· Collaborate on end-to-end solutions from concept to deployment

· Contribute to architectural decisions and technology choices

· Work on diverse projects ranging from customer-facing features to internal automation

· Implement and monitor SEO strategies to improve our digital presence

Required Skills & Qualities

· Strong foundation in full-stack web development

· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

· Experience with Git and GitHub in a team environment

· Understanding of GraphQL and REST APIs

· Knowledge of technical SEO best practices and implementation

· Ability to write clean, maintainable code

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Experience

· React.js development

· Shopify theme development or customization

· E-commerce platform experience

· Python scripting

· Experience with SEO tools and analytics platforms

· Understanding of Core Web Vitals and performance optimization
