Overview
Murphy & Grantland is looking for a Paralegal to assist two of the firm's litigation attorneys. The job will include analyzing documents and initial preparation of drafting pleadings, discovery, and other related documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in collecting, analyzing, and maintaining client file materials needed in discovery. Responsibilities include analyzing medical records and summaries. Preparing documents for production in discoveries. Creating initial drafts of discovery responses. Working on and managing large volumes of documents from numerous different sources in an organized manner.
Minimum Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must have at least3 plus years of experience as a litigation paralegal. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to handle complex legal matters is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn new software are important.
*A bachelor's degree is required, a paralegal certificate is a plus
*Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet business needs may be required.

The physical demands for this position of sitting for long periods of time, hearing long recordings, talking on the phone, repetitive motions, typing, and hand/eye coordination.
