RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, preventive and productive maintenance systems and processes.
- Able to perform plumbing, painting, grounds keeping, landscaping, carpentry, installation, receiving, and vehicle maintenance.
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during use.
- Performs regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Performs mechanical duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
- Detects faulty operations, defective material and reports those and any unusual or unsafe conditions to proper supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two (2) years of verifiable experience in facilities maintenance and/or construction with general knowledge of auto and small engine maintenance and repair, plumbing and electrical, painting, general carpentry work and repair, swimming pool maintenance, lawn machinery and equipment.
- Knowledge of a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
- High school diploma/GED; Associate degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred.
- One (1) years of Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) experience is a preferred.
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and maintenance experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication, both verbally and in writing, in English required
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a current/valid drivers license.
