Job Overview & Essential Functions
Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck Dealership and Leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Field Management Trainee. position is based on skill development toward a future management position. Training and skill development will be focused in the following areas: Parts, Service, Body Shop, Warranty, New and Used Truck Sales, and Dealership Administration functions.
- Follow assigned training schedule and timelines as outlined by management.
- Focus on key skills necessary to understand and succeed in all assigned areas of the company.
- Active and participative in all assigned areas; ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Hands on during training. Skills and performance must be demonstrated before moving on to the next training phase.
- Establishes and maintains a working relationship with MHC management team, vendors, and customers.
- Attends vendor sponsored events as required (including evening or weekend assignments.)
- Flexible to changes deemed necessary by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Leadership and sales skills required.
- Strong commitment to excellence and customer service.
- Previous automotive or truck experience a plus.
- Basic PC skills including Word and Excel required.
- Must be willing to travel throughout training process.
- Must be willing to relocate at time of permanent placement.
