Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Regional Medium Duty Fleet Salesperson. The Regional Medium Duty Fleet Salesperson sells new medium duty trucks by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects within assigned territory; position requires complete knowledge of all the Company’s products, services, and policies and requires several years of experience.
- Calls on established and prospective medium duty truck accounts within assigned territory.
- Maintains contact with customers in relation to their requirements; keeps current on market conditions and customer trends.
- Identifies and profiles prospective customers, develops and applies sales strategy necessary to obtain truck orders.
- Makes company services available to customers.
- Refers customer complaints and leads to proper department manager of the company to ensure successful complaint resolution.
- Stays appraised of competitive activity within the assigned territory.
- Attends training as necessary and keeps informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers.
- Keeps accurate records and makes reports of activities.
- Assists in coordinating activities of the other departments to achieve full penetration of assigned accounts of all MHC offerings.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Broad knowledge of the wholesale/retail market.
- Proven direct truck sales experience. Prefer previous fleet sales experience.
- People skills a must.
- Working knowledge of the Company's services and product offerings.
- Must be willing to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Must possess strong work ethic and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be Company/Team minded.
- CDL preferred.
