Pre-Construction Manager – Murphy Homes
Location: Madison, AL | Full-Time | Reports to: Division President
Murphy Homes is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Construction Manager to lead our pre-construction team and drive efficiency in estimating, purchasing, and trade partner development. This role is critical in ensuring accurate budgeting, pricing, and cost management while continuously improving processes and value engineering efforts.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and optimize base material lists, budgets, and option pricing to improve profitability.
- Lead pre-construction meetings, cross-department collaboration, and vendor negotiations.
- Analyze variances, identify trends, and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Ensure accurate forecasting of trade needs and manage trade partner performance.
- Spearhead process improvements and system upgrades for operational efficiency.
