We’re seeking a community relations analyst to help us build, maintain and nurture these relationships. This key position requires a candidate who has a proven track record of executing corporate fundraising campaigns, managing campaign data, planning events, coordinating employee volunteer efforts, and presenting reports on activities. This role will serve as the principal ambassador for the company, promoting Murphy’s image in the community, engaging with community stakeholders, and building strategic partnerships with non-profits. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills, as well as an ability to foster positive relations with individuals and organizations that support the company’s community relations strategy. The individual in this role will also manage the Murphy gift matching program. We’d like an energetic individual who is detail, as well as deadline-oriented, is a self-starter, and who can confidently interact with all levels of stakeholders to produce a high-quality final product in a fast-paced environment.This role is an integral part of the Investor Relations and Communications team and interacts with multiple disciplines within the organization. The team is comprised of dynamic, high-performing colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds, who are responsible for the representation of Murphy internally and externally to numerous audiences across a variety of communication channels. The team is also highly integrated with the company’s executive leadership and visible throughout the organization.The Community Relations Analyst will work in our Houston Corporate office and may work two (2) days a week remote.Responsibilities                                                                                     Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to meet corporate community relations goals and KPIsDevelop and manage the community engagement budget, ensuring effective allocation of resourcesCultivate and maintain relationships with business leaders, employees, and non-profit community partnersDevelop and implement effective and creative communication strategies to promote campaign initiativesOrganize and oversee fundraising events and activities, including pledge drives and silent auctions Plan, coordinate, and execute campaign-related events, including logistics, budgeting, and promotionCollaborate with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure successful eventsTrack and report on fundraising progress and provide recommendations for future improvementsAnalyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementGenerate reports and provide insights to support decision-making and strategy developmentEnsure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulationsRecruit, train, manage, and recognize employee volunteers to support campaign activitiesManage the Murphy gift matching programAdditional responsibilities as assignedQualifications / RequirementsBachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus in public relations, communications or a related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years prior related experience, preferable within the oil and natural gas sectorExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective collaborative working relationships with internal and external personnel at all levels, and from a variety of disciplinesStrong writing and verbal communication skillsResults-oriented team player, who works well in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail Proactive self-starter with foresight and strategic planning skills to anticipate future needs, trends and decisionsAble to simultaneously prioritize and manage multiple projects for multiple stakeholders while meeting deadlinesHighest standard of personal ethics and integrity supported by open and accurate communicationCreative problem-solver who can assess the needs of the business, recommend and apply solutionsAbility to travel (up to 5%) and work extended or off-hours during issues management or priority projects as requiredExcellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilitiesDemonstrated experience in project managementThe individual is required to follow all applicable safety precautions. Work is performed almost entirely in a controlled (i.e., inside) environment and does not typically subject the incumbent to any hazardous / extreme elements; some positions may require regularly moving or transporting items weighing up to 25 lbs. around the office for various needs. The successful candidate must be able to complete all essential physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Desired / Preferred Qualifications Experience working in design programs is considered an asset#LI- HybridPURPOSEWe believe in providing energy that empowers people.MISSION We challenge the norm, tap into our strong legacy and use our foresight and financial discipline to deliver inspired energy solutions.VISION We see a future where we are an industry leader who is positively impacting lives for the next 100 years and beyond.VALUES & BEHAVIORSDo Right AlwaysRespect people, safety, environment and the lawFollow through on commitmentsMake it betterThink Beyond PossibleOffer solutionStep up and leadDon’t settle for “good enough”Embrace new opportunitiesStay With ItShow resilienceLean into challengesSupport each otherConsider the implications_________________________________________________________________________________________________Murphy Oil Corporation participates in the Department of Homeland Security U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services' E-Verify program.
