Key Responsibilities
- Machine Maintenance & Repair:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce machine failures and ensure consistent operation.
- Replace or repair machine components, such as motors, belts, gears, bearings, and wiring.
- Facility Maintenance:
- Address general building maintenance needs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
- Ensure equipment and systems meet safety and operational standards.
- Equipment Calibration:
- Test and calibrate machinery to meet operational specifications and optimize performance.
- Record adjustments and maintenance tasks in logs for tracking.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance adhere to safety standards and regulations.
- Identify and address safety hazards associated with machinery or the work environment.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Report major equipment issues or recurring problems to management.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure machinery meets production requirements.
- Coordinate with external vendors or specialists for complex repairs or installations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in machinery repair or maintenance is preferred.
- Experience:
- 2 years of experience in machinery repair and maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Certifications:
- Certifications in machine repair, welding, or electrical systems (e.g., OSHA, PLC troubleshooting) are a plus.
