Job Summary

Duties
- Monitor inmate behavior and enforce facility rules to maintain order.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility, including cells and common areas.
- Respond to emergencies, including fights or medical incidents, using appropriate de-escalation techniques.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, inmate behavior, and daily activities.
- Utilize CCTV systems to monitor inmate movements and ensure security protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement personnel when necessary to uphold safety standards.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to conflict management and emergency response.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CCTV systems for surveillance purposes.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
- Experience or training in militarized environments is a plus.
- Excellent report writing skills for documenting incidents accurately.
- Knowledge of law enforcement practices is beneficial for effective supervision of inmates.
