Murray County is taking applications for full-time Assessor Technician. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This position performs a variety of clerical duties for the Department that include mailings, maintaining field books and must be able to provide information requested for property values, classifications, taxes, tax estimates, Crop Equivalency Ratings (CER), and sales. This position will undergo training and experience required to obtain the Certified Minnesota Assessor (CMA) Licensure and the Accredited Minnesota Assessor (AMA) Licensure.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School diploma/GED and two years relevant work experience.
- Valid MN driver’s license.
- Must have excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Mathematical skills and ability to read legal descriptions required.
- Ability to obtain the Certified Minnesota Assessor (CMA) licensure within two years of hire.
- Also obtain the Accredited Minnesota Assessor Licensure within two years of the CMA certification.
Salary Range: $20.89 to $27.16 per hour
