What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker position at Murray County?
Murray County is accepting applications for seasonal Parks Maintenance Workers. Weekly work hours will vary with an average week of up to 40 hours per week, starting approximately April with completion near September.
Duties include:
Grounds Maintenance including mowing, trimming grass, trees and performing yard work.
Assist in events, cleaning and maintaining Fairgrounds.
Performs general maintenance on small equipment including mowers and weed eaters.
Inspects and cleans all shelters, toilets, trash containers, picnic tables, grills and other equipment and structures in the County Park system.
Qualifications: Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Requires knowledge of general maintenance and a valid Minnesota driver’s license. Related experience or training is preferred.
