Murray County is accepting applications for seasonal Surveying Technician. Hours are Monday thru Friday and will vary with an average week of up to 40 hours.
Duties include :
Assist with construction surveys using equipment such as level, transit, total station, data collector or GPS.
Assist with preliminary construction surveys for future projects.
Assist with inspection of construction projects.
Assists with materials on aggregate samples, paperwork and filing construction documents.
Placing stakes and collecting weigh tickets
Qualifications : Minimum of a High School diploma / GED, preference will be given to those that are or will be attending post-secondary education in Engineering / Surveying. Or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge and abilities for this position. Valid Minnesota Driver’s license required.
Salary : $16.50 per hour
