What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager (Contractor) position at Murray Custom Homes?
Murray Custom Homes, also home to Murray Roofing and Murray Restoration, is a well-established construction company that is continuing to grow! We are currently looking for a full-time Project Manager who is responsible for the overall project planning and scheduling of residential construction projects. The Project Manager responsibilities span a broad spectrum covering all areas of project management – project planning, cost management, time management, client coordination, and quality management.
Responsibilities could include, but not limited to:
- Oversee the construction project from start to finish.
- Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
- Responsible for the construction project delivery, working with others and achieving a successful outcome of the projects.
- Good communication skills, as you will be in constant communication, both written and verbal, with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and fellow employees.
- Develop estimates and bids accurately.
- Work well under pressure.
- Monitor all costs on the project to ensure accuracy and staying within budget.
- Forecast project costs and make adjustments to ensure job stays within budget.
- Process payment requests.
- Resolve conflicts as it related to the personnel and construction documents.
- Promote a safe working environment.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule
- Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project
- Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams
- Periodic inspection of construction sites

Qualifications
- Previous experience is desired

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
