Maintenance Technician

Murray Franklyn is a local leader in property management and is seeking a responsible, experienced, hardworking, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician for the Eastside area. This is a full-time position Monday – Friday, with on-call emergency availability.

This position reports to the Senior Property Manager.

Compensation: $80K-84K per year plus cell phone and auto allowance of $750 per month

Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

· Proficient in drywall repair, texturing, painting, general carpentry, finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and cabinetry.

· Upkeep of retail centers to maintain stellar appearance including but not limited to removing garbage from trash cans and parking lot, clearing roof of debris, keeping catch basins in parking lot open, re-lamping, and snow removal as needed.

· Pressure washing buildings, sidewalks, and grease bins as needed.

· Coordinating with subcontractors on an as needed basis

· Responsible for various repairs in office, retail centers, demo. homes, and partner homes.

· Must be able to communicate with all tenants and Partners

· Appliance repair

· Strong trouble shooting skills

· Basic computer skills

· Performs a variety of physical tasks on the job site including painting, electrical and general home maintenance, and pickup carpentry.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and own your own truck or van
• Strong understanding of quality control
• Excellent listening; high quality standards; quick learner, team member
• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel and Partners
• Must be able to lift 30-60 pounds
• Must be able to climb a ladder to access roofs
• Must be able to pass background check and motor vehicle report
• Must have a can-do attitude and do whatever it takes to get the job done
• Must be available to be on-call for after-hour emergencies.
• Maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance.
• 5 years of building maintenance experience preferred

Pay: $80,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
