Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Probate Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist our attorney and other staff with a variety of tasks including preparing legal documents, managing case files, and communicating with clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in probate law.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorney and staff members with probate cases from start to finish.
- Draft and file probate documents such as petitions, inventories, and accountings.
- Manage case files and ensure all documents are accurately filed and organized.
- Communicate with clients, court staff, and other parties involved in probate matters.
- Follow through with trust funding.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in document management software.
