Our firm specializes in removal defense, humanitarian applications, family-based immigration, criminal immigration, employment-based immigration, naturalization, and appellate and federal litigation.
Job Duties:
We are looking for highly motivated Affirmative, Defensive, Employment, Litigation and SIJS Attorneys to join our team. We are looking for candidates that have the capacity to manage their caseload and meet minimum case completion progress while regularly conducting consultations for potential new clients. The ideal candidate enjoys collaboration but can work independently and has an understanding of immigration law. Leadership skills, the ability to work within a team setting, and work with paralegals through case processes is a must. Our attorneys participate in firm committees related to the management of the firm, under the guidance of the firm partners, for an active voice in our overall operation. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to build something and have a structured path to partner with top performance. We encourage a hybrid work model which allows our attorneys to be flexible in working from home or the office for client facing and in office events (offices are located in Fairfax, VA and Silver Spring, MD).
Basic Qualifications:
- Active bar membership with immigration experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Hard working, flexible, with the ability to carry a significant caseload
- Detailed oriented and highly organized
- Ability to multitask and jump from one task to the next when needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency or proficiency in Spanish and/or another language
