A successful manufacturing company is seeking a Production Scheduler to manage and optimize daily production planning activities. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and adaptable professional with strong scheduling, inventory, and communication skills.

Location: Beaumont, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
- Create and distribute production schedules daily.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, quality assurance (QA) to align schedules with material availability and equipment capacity.
- Key subject matter expert as it relates to scheduling orders, daily capacities, and procurement needs.
- Adjust schedules in response to unexpected changes, such as equipment breakdowns or urgent customer orders.
- Responsible for daily update inventory and orders reports.
- Order supplies as needed to fulfill production demands.
- Track production progress and resolve scheduling conflicts to minimize conflicts to minimize downtime and inefficiencies.
- Collect data and distribute periodic sales and production KPI’s.
- Communicate schedule updates to the team and provide reports on production efficiency and on-time performance (i.e. sales and production KPIs).
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of scheduling, planning, or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage production demands
- Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and attention to details skills
