Responsibilities :
Manage daily office routines, including opening and closing procedures.
Answer inbound calls, assist customers, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Maintain an organized workspace and ensure the premises are clean and functional.
Communicate with headquarters and adhere to company policies and reporting standards.
Control stock levels, conduct routine counts, and ensure proper inventory rotation.
Maintain spare parts stock and oversee warehouse organization.
Ensure proper upkeep of office, yard, and warehouse facilities.
Operate a forklift (certification required).
Coordinate shipments with transport companies and customers for efficient deliveries.
Compute logistics details such as duties, tariffs, and weight conversions.
Handle hazardous goods shipments in compliance with regulations.
Maintain documentation for all shipments per company policies.
Provide updates on logistics challenges and operational needs.
Assist with trade show activities, facility organization, and administrative support.
Work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience in international logistics and shipping processes.
Strong understanding of transportation regulations and hazardous materials handling.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and logistics documentation.
Forklift certification required.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt to various responsibilities.
Willingness to travel locally and work irregular hours if needed.
