Job Description
A well-established, privately-owned exploration and production company is seeking an Office Assistant to join their team. This position will work alongside the Office Manager and the Geosciences team. Ideally this person will have a desire to grow into a Geological Technician.
Location : West Houston - 77024 - Fully Onsite
Pay : $21-25 / hr
Type : Direct Hire
Responsibilities :
Support the Office Manager and Sr Geological Technician with day-to-day tasks
Back up for the Receptionist
Perform clerical duties (data entry, filing)
Assist with meeting preparation
Work with Geoscience team and assist with coloring logs, creating presentations, and map displays.
Create PowerPoint presentations.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree is required
1-2 years of corporate office experience required
Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
