We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead daily operations at our collision repair facility. What You’ll Do
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow, quality repairs, and the implementation of CARSTAR’s EDGE Performance platform for process improvements.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop technicians, estimators, and administrative staff while fostering a positive, teamwork-oriented environment.
- Customer Service: Oversee the customer journey from estimates to vehicle delivery, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Financial Management: Monitor budgets and KPIs, drive cost-saving initiatives, and manage shop profitability.
- Sales and Growth: Develop strategies to grow the business through marketing and insurance partnerships while maintaining DRP compliance.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure environmental and safety compliance and lead regular safety meetings.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews and delegate effectively to promote continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience:
- 2 years in an operations leadership role.
- 5 years in customer service.
- Skills:
- Proven leadership with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
- Strong communication skills for staff, customer, and vendor interactions.
- Problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptability.
- Certifications:
- I-CAR certification preferred.
- CCC experience strongly preferred.
