What are the responsibilities and job description for the Horizon Hourly Custodian-Sweeper position at Murray School District?
Responsibilities: Help with the operation, upkeep and cleaning of the assigned school building and
grounds. Keep the building comfortable, safe and clear for all times the building
is scheduled for use. Other custodial duties as assigned by head custodian.
Minimum Requirements: Must be able to handle cleaning machinery such as buffers, floor scrubbers, high
speed buffers, etc., the ability to lift 30 lbs.
Job Specifications: Part- time position – 19 hours per week
Salary Range: Custodian:
Current Employees: $14.02 to $20.29 based on years with the district
New-to-the-District: $14.02 to $16.06 based on experience and/or education
Sweeper (JHS 14 or older & HS Students) - $13.29 per hour
