Dental Hygienist

Murrells Inlet Dentistry is seeking a Dental Hygienist to contribute to our team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience:

  • 1 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • A desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
  • Clinical needs as required by the office.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
  • As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
