Requirements / Qualifications
MATERIALS PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS :
Preferred previous successful experience coaching Volleyball at the High School and / or Collegiate level with successful post-season play.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Has demonstrated ability to mentor the six core ethical values of "Pursuing Victory with Honor" (trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and good citizenship).
- Proven ability to foster, build positive relationships, and mentor the coaching staff in effort to sustain a successful program.
- Foster a desire to promote school spirit and a positive school climate.
- Understand the budget and fiscal responsibilities of the entire program.
- Build positive relations with staff, students, parents, and media.
- Organize the acquisition and inventory of equipment, materials, supplies.
- Communicate with staff, students, and parents with character and competence.

If selected to coach, the following items will be required prior to clearance :
1) TB / Drug Screening within 5 days of offer.
2) Live Scan Fingerprinting - $69.00 made out : MVUSD (via Cashiers Check / Money Order (for California Teaching Commission cost). [This is only if you don't have a credential or 30 day permit.]
3) Attain the "Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate" through the NFHS website $50.
4) Unless you hold a valid teaching credential / or 30-Day Substitute Permit, you will need to attain an ASCC through the CTC website $102.50.
5) Valid CPR & First Aid prior to start date.
6) Completion of Keenan Safe Schools online training modules.
7) Create Home Campus website to upload all certificated into.
Only accept CPR / First Aid certification courses with either Red Cross or American Heart Association. No online CPR / First Aid Certification will be accepted, required to be a hands-on course.
