Program Director
Murrow Indian Children’s Home, a Faith-based Non-profit facility is seeking a mission-minded, highly motivated, organized, assertive individual with a Christian foundation to serve as the program Director. The Program Director is responsible for implementing and supervising the facilities programs and services as well as the development of any new or needed services or programs. The Program Director must abide by and uphold all policies and procedures as set forth by State of Oklahoma Residential Licensing as well as Murrow policies and procedures. The Program Director is responsible for admission, assessments, placement, service plan development and reviews, quarterly reports, educational plan, and discharge reports. The Program Director works with the therapists, social services worker, house parents, and tribal case workers to successfully develop treatment plans that meet the needs of the residents. The Program Director provides supervision of the house parents, social service worker, and the children.

Educational Qualifications:
Must meet one of the qualifications: a) a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or other related area of study from an accredited college or university and three years of experience in children’s services b) a master’s degree in social work, psychology, guidance and counseling, sociology, child development, human relations, or other related are of study from and accredited college or university and two years of experience in children’s services c) a doctorate in medicine, social work, psychology, guidance and counseling, sociology, child development, human relations, or other related area of study from an accredited college or university and one-year experience in children’s services

Experience and Skills:
Group home experience preferred
Good organizational skills
Good judgement and deductive reasoning
Self-starter with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to problem solve
Proficient in Microsoft office
Ability to work well under pressure

Good Social and communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain a good working relationship with tribal caseworkers, medical and mental health staff, school personnel, house parents, and other Murrow staff

Maintain good boundaries with staff and children

Employment Qualifications:
 Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
 Submit to and pass a fingerprinted background check
 Learn and provide services as per State Licensing

Secure a minimum of 12 hours continuing education annually

Complete all initial training in the first three months.

Salary: Based on Experience
