Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and scope.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best prices while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management regarding estimated costs and project feasibility.Skills
