We are seeking an experienced Sr. Corporate Counsel with expertise in data privacy frameworks to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will provide legal guidance on data privacy laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable global privacy laws. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on data protection policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and working closely with cross-functional teams to implement data privacy best practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide legal advice on data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with data privacy implications.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments.
- Develop, implement, and maintain data privacy policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and other departments to ensure compliance with data privacy requirements.
- Monitor and respond to changes in data privacy laws and industry standards.
- Train and educate employees on data privacy best practices and compliance.
