Job Description
Neighbors Pediatrics is looking for an experienced Referral Management Specialist to be an integral part of the Neighbors Pediatrics team. We are looking for a professional who is detail oriented that can handle the everyday tasks and treat our patients with the care and respect that our office strives to achieve. The representative will be responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, directing calls to appropriate associates, as well as additional clerical duties. Opportunity for Advancement within company is available. Position is full time, Monday thru Friday.
The Referral Management Specialist obtains, and processes signed physician orders/referrals to ensure accurate clinical documentation for care delivery, specialty and outpatient ancillary referrals.
Minimum Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and one year of work experience in either patient services, medical reception, or call/customer service center (preferably in a medical environment).
