Job Title: Volunteer Coordinator
MUSC Health Hospice at Home by BAYADA is seeking a Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator located in North Charleston, SC.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise delivery of all volunteer services.
- Partner with office staff to coordinate administrative volunteer services.
- Assess and monitor record-keeping systems for services delivered and time involved.
- Recruit, interview, and select volunteers.
- Design and supervise volunteer orientation and training.
- Facilitate and support volunteer retention activities.
- Monitor and evaluate volunteer performance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation (COPs).
- Stay current with federal and state volunteer rules and regulations.
- Plan and coordinate volunteer support meetings.
Requirements:
- Provide excellent customer service and quality hospice care focusing on volunteer services.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, goal achievement, and ability to take on responsibility with positive results.
- Prior healthcare, home care, and recruiting experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills in English.
