Role Overview
MUSC Health & Medical University of SC is seeking a skilled and empathetic Healthcare Assistant Professional to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant Professional, you will provide exceptional care to patients in need of wound care services under the direct supervision of a Charge nurse and/or Registered nurse.
You will meet standards of Wound Care practice set forth by regulatory agencies & nursing practice in the management of assigned patients. Your key responsibilities will include assisting medical staff with implementation of wound treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare providers in reviewing performance improvement activities, and acting within guidelines of federal & state laws, Joint Commission standards, and professional & ethical practice.
