Job Description Summary
Provide care to patients in need of wound care services under the direct supervision of a Charge nurse and/or Registered nurse.
Meet standards of Wound Care practice set forth by regulatory agencies & nursing practice in the management of assigned patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist medical staff with implementation of wound treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers in reviewing performance improvement activities.
- Act within guidelines of federal & state laws, Joint Commission standards, and professional & ethical practice.

Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited vocational/technical LPN course required.
- Completion of an accredited wound care course/training preferred.
- 2 years medical surgical nursing or medical office experience required
- Knowledge of wound related products & procedures required
- Active LPN license to work in South Carolina required
- Current BLS required
- Certification in Wound Care preferred

- Ability to work indoors.
- Ability to work rotating shifts.
