Are you a detail-oriented, skilled laboratory professional? We're looking for a motivated Medical Lab Technologist to perform a variety of moderate and high-complexity laboratory tests on blood and body fluid specimens. With minimal supervision, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results, maintaining strict quality control, and contributing to exceptional patient care.
What You’ll Do
Education: Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Licenses/Certification: Knowledge of CLIA requirements (Title 42, Sec. 493.1489) and qualification standards for testing personnel. Medical Lab Technologist licensure (ASCP) or eligibility to obtain certification within 1 year of hire

What You’ll Do
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood and body fluids
- Ensure reliable test results by following quality control protocols
- Conduct instrument checks and preventative maintenance as required
- Maintain accurate records and statistical data according to regulatory standards
- Train new employees and students on lab policies and procedures
- Collect urine drug screens for chain of custody, as needed
- Provide support across all laboratory areas to ensure the best possible care for patients

- Working at night or on weekends will make you eligible for shift differential. To be eligible for shift differentials you must work 4 hours into the shift time to get the differentials (Monday - Thursday 3p – 11p = $3.50 per hour and 11p-7a = $3.75, Friday - Sunday 11p - 7a = $6.00 per hour, or Saturday – Sunday 7a – 3p = $4.00 per hour and 3p – 11p = $5.50 per hour)
