Intermediate-level COTA II has increased responsibilities and independence in providing occupational therapy services. Takes an active role in treatment, documentation, education, and operational leadership.
Additional Job Description
Education: Graduation from an accredited school for Occupational Therapy Assistants required. Experience: At least one year of experience as Occupational Therapy Assistant and demonstrated competence in treating all patient types as well as independence in managing a full caseload. Certification/Licensure: Licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy and registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
