Vascular Surgeon Job Description
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Vascular Surgeon to work full-time at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in charming Beaufort, SC.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the Society of Vascular Surgery's Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI) and take an active role in growing the vascular service line at Beaufort Memorial. They will also help ensure the integration of vascular services within the greater hospital system.
The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited Vascular Surgery Residency or Fellowship and be proficient in all aspects of vascular surgery, including open and endovascular techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the Society of Vascular Surgery's VQI
- Growing the vascular service line at Beaufort Memorial
- Ensure the integration of vascular services within the hospital system
- Engage in teaching and clinical research opportunities
Support and Infrastructure:
- Dedicated support staff
- Strong collaborative support with a robust internal referral network
- Hospitalists on site 24/7
- Multidisciplinary operating rooms with state-of-the-art equipment
- Meditech and Athena medical record platforms
